Katoa Po Win
Auckland OC won the 7-man team relay at Katoa Po (the night relay in Taupo) and we had a team that was 2nd in the 5-man team race. The 2nd placed 5-man team consisted of the Scott family (Lydia, Bronwyn, David, Imogene and Toby). In a great night of orienteering all the Auckland competitors had great fun. We had the youngest runner (Natalie - aged 4) and the last runner in Malcolm Gawn. We picked up lots of special prizes and did well in the competition too. A few more photos here. (The misty background belies the fact that it was a beautiful night and the next day turned out very hot too.)
