At Last! We managed a night with no rain! (although just as we were about to close up the camper there was a tiny splattering). It was really great to see so many people out tonight, including lots of first timers. We look forward to welcoming you back as old hands next week. Our thanks to the Milne family for an enjoyable set of courses tonight and for all the work that Gavin put in to update the map. These park maps are continually changing (including several new fences that appear today!) so keeping them up to date is a time-consuming challenge.
Next week we are again on THURSDAY, at Panmure Basin, starting from beside the model railway in Peterson Rd, off Waipuna Rd (beside Waipuna Lodge). With the opening of the new bridge across the river, we are again able to circumnavigate the basin. The longer 2 courses will also cross across to the southern part of last year’s new Mt Wellington War Memorial reserve map including Panmure Bridge school. There will also be a chance for everyone to enjoy a wee sprint around the cute model railway. See you there!!
