Owairaka Parkrun – Auckland Orienteering Volunteer Takeover – Saturday 18^th March

On the 18^th March Auckland Orienteering Club will be taking over the Volunteering for the Owairaka Parkrun. As part of the club’s Partnership with Owairaka Athletics we have taken the opportunity to run their Parkrun.  This gives us the opportunity to advertise our sport ahead of the Western Springs event on the following Wednesday.

We will be asking for volunteers soon (about 12) to help with some of the tasks on the day.  We would also like as many Auckland Orienteering members as possible to come along and enter and run the parkrun in their club shirts.  We are looking to attract a number of Parkrunners who haven’t tried the sport previously so the more we can advertise the better.
