weather. Thanks to Tim and Claude for their hard work and enjoyable courses –
they are both also controlling Summer Series events at the moment so have been
extra busy.
We apologise to those arriving a little later who were affected by our shortage
of maps. We have a lot of trouble estimating the numbers going to attend. We
calculate a number, increase it by 25% and then do some master maps as well in
case we get a course wrong. Today, however we got caught short – It is upsetting
when something as good as lots of people turning up to an event results in some
being inconvenienced - sorry.
The 3rd of the Summer Forest Series events is not until 20th March – just before the Nationals, but mean time don’t forget the Domain on Wednesday night – along with the normal courses Jen has a little Hageby race planned as something a bit different, and then next Saturday we have the second of the night events, at Ambury Park, starts 8.15 onwards, with those 2 great prizes to be won courtesy of Bivouac Outdoors and Thai Torbay Restaurant.
